    Apply for Unemployment Benefits through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services

    To receive unemployment benefits, you must apply through the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. After you are approved for benefits, you must file a claim each week until you get a new job.

LASCO may be able to represent you if:

  • Your application for unemployment benefits was incorrectly denied
  • Your employer refuses to pay your minimum wage or overtime
  • You need help sealing a criminal record so you can get a job
  • You need help obtaining a Certificate of Qualification of Employment
  • Your driver’s license has been suspended but you need to drive for a job
