Tyler is a staff attorney II at Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio in the Columbus office. Tyler joined Legal Aid in May of 2022. Tyler represents clients in bankruptcy cases and oversees Legal Aid’s Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Pro Bono Referral Program.
Prior to joining Legal Aid, Tyler was in private practice for three years as a generalist for a small law firm in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
Tyler says, “I became a lawyer because I wanted to help ordinary people in their time of legal need. I’m passionate about fighting for social, economic, and racial justice, and the law can be a powerful tool to empower ordinary people in the fight against systemic and institutional oppression.”

Tyler lives in Grove City with his wife and their six-year-old daughter. In his free time Tyler enjoys reading, physical fitness, and spending time with family and friends.
