Michael F. Harrington joined LASCO (then SEOLS) in 1997 as the managing attorney of the New Philadelphia office. Before joining LASCO, Michael worked from 1987 to 1997 as a staff attorney and managing attorney with Iowa Legal Aid’s Cedar Rapids office. He handles a wide-variety of civil cases and supervises the work of the attorneys and staff in his office.
Michael says LASCO makes a difference for clients’ lives because “We help to give a voice to low income individuals as they deal with the courts and the agencies that assist them. By providing information about their legal rights, we put individuals in the best position to make informed decisions in their lives. Through representation, we help to make sure that those rights are protected and provided for low income individuals.”
