Professional Biography

Dilynn Roettker joined the LASCO (then LASC) in October 2016 as a staff attorney with the Public Benefits Team, where she helps clients access Medicaid and Medicare benefits and treatment, educational services, Social Security, child care, cash and food assistance, and Veteran’s benefits.


A southeastern Ohio native, she graduated with honors from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, and received her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. After graduation, she completed a policy fellowship with the Children’s Defense Fund-Ohio. While in law school, she clerked with LASCO’s sister program, Southeastern Ohio Legal Services, as well as The Ohio Poverty Law Center. She also served with the Ohio House of Representatives, the Legal Action Center, and Spater & Davis-Williams LLC.


Dilynn’s favorite part of working at LASCO is being able to empower both individual clients and communities through education, outreach, representation, and advocacy. As part of the Public Benefits Team, she enjoys ensuring that her clients receive equitable access to the fundamental resources necessary to live a full, productive life.
