Professional Biography

Chris is a passionate professional with a diverse background in community engagement and social work. Throughout his career, Chris has worked in various capacities, supporting individuals in both outdoor and educational settings. He has taught cooking with Local Matters, led hikes for a local conservation district, and served as the director of his college chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Currently, Chris works as the distance track coach at St. Charles Preparatory School, where he mentors teenagers and encourages their growth through athletics.


Chris finds his work at LASCO particularly rewarding because of the people and the impact of the organization’s mission. As he puts it, “I respect and admire my coworkers; they raise me up. The work we do together has real meaning. It’s something larger to give to, and I’m fortunate to be a part of it.”
