Alex Vance

Professional Biography

Alexandra Vance works as a staff attorney in the Steubenville office. She joined LASCO (then SEOLS) in 2022 shortly after graduating law school. Alex enjoys being a generalist but focuses most of her time on landlord-tenant cases. She is a firm believer that housing is a form of healthcare and works to ensure that people are able to live in safe homes.

At LASCO, Alex is a member of both the housing team and the fair housing team. Working on these teams allows Alex to help with the issues that our clients are facing on an individual level while working to change the system at a larger level. “Housing is such a basic need and a lot of times we are our clients’ last chance at either getting or maintaining a safe place to live. Low-income Ohioans are often forced to live in subpar, sometimes unsafe, housing and that is simply unacceptable. I want to change that.”
