Aaron Roberts

Aaron S. Roberts

Professional Biography

Aaron Roberts is a housing attorney working out of the Columbus office of LASCO. Aaron grew up in Morgan County, Ohio, as the third of four children. To give back to his hometown, he currently serves as the President of Morgan Community Support and Solutions Board, an Ohio nonprofit working in Morgan County.

Having always been fascinated by people and the societies they've created, Aaron obtained a Psychology degree from The Ohio State University at Newark. Aaron decided to pursue a legal career afterwards, deciding that his skills and abilities would be better served helping people figure out their legal problems versus their personal ones.

Aaron believes the law is, for better or worse, something everyone will encounter at one point or another. "These encounters are inevitable," he says, "and for most people they're also confusing and frustrating. Faith in the justice system is not presumed; it must be earned. Legal Aid offers people the opportunity to approach their legal problems with the confidence of legal representation that would otherwise be out of their reach. I take pride in the opportunity to make those uncomfortable brushes with the law a little less confusing, a little less scary, and hopefully a little more fair."
