Jason Heinrich is the managing attorney of the Athens office. He joined LASCO (then SEOLS) in September 2022.
Prior to working in legal services, Jason spent two years as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Southeastern Ohio, serving people living with poverty in Appalachia. After completing his legal education, he worked for Legal Aid of West Virginia in Parkersburg, West Virginia. There, he primarily represented victims of domestic violence in family court. He also represented low-income clients in housing, unemployment, and consumer cases. Jason represented clients before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals in cases involving child custody and child abuse and neglect.
Since joining LASCO, Jason has been assisting clients with family, housing, consumer, and elder law cases.
